  2. Yes, I made it. I call it: What Nerds Who Love AAC Do During a Hurricane.

That is a marvelous idea Robin. It is actually created in Communicator (from Tobii) so I am not sure how I would make it interactive or have links other than within Communicator. Which would not be terribly useful for most people! Ideas?

  3. Hi Kate!

I've just recently become acquainted with your fabulous 'Periodic table of AAC'!!! It is absolutely brilliant! Thank you for sharing your hard work with everyone, it is greatly appreciated!

I was wondering if it might be possible for you to make a few little changes please?
The autistic spelling and grammar nazi in me is wondering if you might be able to remove the extra 'e' in the purple 'train peers' element box please (it reads 'trains peeers')?
Also, would it be possible for you to align the information in the 'key' (i.e. Green = Guiding Beliefs, Orange = AAC Competencies etc.)a bit better so that it 'lines up' and looks a bit neater please? Perhaps using a smaller font might make this easier to achieve?

Sorry to be a pain! I don't mean to be rude but I'm just a perfectionist and thought I'd try my luck in asking you whether you might be able to make these changes!

Thank you so much for considering these changes, your assistance is greatly appreciated!
    Kind regards,
    Larissa

  4. Hi Larissa,

Next time I am on the computer in that program I will fix the extra e. But the alignment will be staying how it is. Other than exposure therapy being a good treatment for perfectionism, it so happens I made the periodic table in Tobii Communicator and there is no "left align" or anything as it is communication software not infographic making software. If you have a better way to do it I am more than happy to take a look at what you create. I also should mention that this graphic went viral, so even when I fix it the one with an error will be everywhere. There isn't anything I can do about it. Thanks, Kate

  6. What's the best way to use this table?

  7. Robin, Kate...in trying to figure out a universally-accessible software program to link cells to more info, it could be done in Excel. It will just take time to import all the SymbolStix images.

  8. I absolutely love this but do you have the updated version of this with the corrected spelling?
